Emperor: Battle For Dune Review

This is concluded from Dune 2000 which was also yet another old styly game and is still one i play at the moment. This is set much further into the future. The 3 houses, Atreides, Harkonnen, and Ordos are yet again trying to win the contest of harvesting enough spice to promote their leader to king of Arrakis. However not knowing of this, the Guild and the Tleilaxu have combines their efforts and are devising a master plan to make a newer sandwrom....the Emperor Worm. Who will you choose to dominate with?

Features:

3 sides of immense might and power, each have their strengths, each have their weaknesses.
Command the sneaky Ordos and command units such as the laser Tank and the Deviator or reign down their Chaos Lightning strike superweapon to make enemies go beserk.
Command the Evil Harkonnen and command units such as the Devastator, the Missile Tank, or reign down a Harkonne Death Missile on enemy positions.
Command the Noble Atriedes and command units such as the Minotaurus and the Sonic Tank or reign down a frigtening Hawk Strike on ememy Tank and Infantry Battalions to petrefy them to run off the map.
Ally with some of the Mighty Ssub Houses such as the Sardaukar, Fremen, IX, Tleilaxu, or the Guild to help your war efforts to command Arrakis.
Lead commanding forces on your own homeworlds like Geidi Prime the Harkonnen Volcanic Planet, the Peace and Water Planet Caladan of Atreides or the Ice Planet Draconis 4 of the Ordos.
A complete new graphics engine gives higher graphic detail, terrain detail and better performance.
